5pm Friday update...

They have continued to lower her dosage by 5cc's per hour and she's only down to about 40cc's from 100.  She should begin responding around 10pm tonight when it is around 25cc's.  So far no seizures.  Read below for a prior update with more information.

 Leigh Anne Update (noon Friday)

Leigh Anne is currently deeply sedated.  On Monday she had a hemorrhagic stroke which caused bleeding and swelling on her brain.  To attempt to relieve this, early on Tuesday the put a drain in her head which is a dangerous procedure.  That did help to relieve the pressure and after sedation she was calm for a while.  They attempted to bring her out of her induced coma which went slowly.  Possibly because her kidneys do not strain out the medicine as quickly as ours would.  She did not wake on her own so they woke her as best they could and she did respond to some verbal command.  Only one side was able to move at the time.  Later, Tuesday night she had a grandma-seizure (a big one).  They put her back under and on Wednesday when they lowered the medication some she had constant mini-seizures every few seconds which are very damaging so they put her back into a deeply induced-coma.  Much of Thursday she was under and the plan is to attempt to bring her out again at 7am Friday morning.  This will be a very critical time where we may find out if she will even have a chance at a recovery.  Early news on Friday is that the starting amount of sedation was 100cc's and they are slowly backing off 5cc's at a time.  So far there has been no seizures which is good.  So please pray that the Lord shows up in a mighty way today.  Also pray for Terri and the family today.  She specifically is reaching her peak with what she can handle.  Please check back here for updates or call Amber Varney at 813-727-9357.  Corey, Cody have flown into town also.  Continue to pray for her and the family.

Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting- 7:00 pm

Thank you for visiting the First Free Will Baptist Church of Tampa's  website.  The church is located at the corner of Highway 579 and US 92 in Seffner, Florida.  (Exit 10 off I-4)  Our pastor, Roger Duncan, is an old-fashioned preacher that preaches God's Word with the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit.  Our services are alive, exciting and filled with God's presence, as evidenced by our membership of approximately 700.  God has blessed us with some of the best Southern gospel singing in the area, and our live band consists of skilled musicians who have dedicated their talent to be used for the Lord.

The mission of our church is three-fold:

1. To enlist sinners (To see folks saved and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ).

2. To edify the saints (To cultivate the fellowship and be an encouragement to the body of believers).

3. To exalt the Savior (To worship, praise and give honor to the precious name of Jesus).

We would be honored to have you as our guest !!
